Representative Paul Thissen, Chair of the Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 4, 2010 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Huntley moved the minutes of April 2, 2009, May 1, 2009, May 5, 2009, August 10, 2009, October 5, 2009, November 4, 2009, December 14, 2009 and January 19, 2010 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2680 (E. Murphy) Mental health urgent care and consultation services established, general assistance medical care program modified, and money appropriated

Representative Murphy moved that HF2680 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Finance.

Representative Murphy presented the bill.

Representative Murphy moved the RC-A28 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Murphy renewed her motion that HF2680, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2736 (Dean) MinnesotaCare coverage and eligibility criteria modified for certain single adults and households without children

Representative Thissen moved that HF2736 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Finance.

Representative Dean presented the bill.

Representative Thissen renewed his motion the HF2736 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:35 P.M.
