Representative Kent Eken, Chair of the Environment Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:32 PM, on February 5, 2009, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Dill moved that the minutes from February 3, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Hansen moved HF162 be recommended to pass and referred to the committee on State and Local Government Operations Reform, Technology and Elections.

Drainage system provisions modified, and money appropriated

Representative Hansen moved HF297 be recommended to pass and referred to the committee on State and Local Government Operations Reform, Technology and Elections.

Twin Cities metropolitan area regional dog park and matching grant program created, and money appropriated.

Representative Hansen moved the H0297A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
