MINUTES



Representative Otremba, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:54 P.M. on, February 22, 2010, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Doty moved approval of the minutes from February 17, 2010.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

Representative Doty moved HF 2918 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the General Register.

HF2918 (Greiling) Beverage production in basements authorized, and commissioner of agriculture directed to amend Minnesota Rules.

Representative Greiling explained the bill to the committee and took questions from the members.

Testifying on behalf of HF 2918 were:

Seth Conenhoven, Director of Operations, Bakery 2036 Marshall Avenue, St. Paul
Quinn Cheney, Policy Director, Minnesota Department of Agriculture

Representative Doty renewed his motion that HF 2918 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the General Register.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting adjourned at 3:01 PM.
