AGRICULTURE, RURAL ECONOMIES AND VETERANS AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Otremba, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at
2:57P.M. on January 26, 2009, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Rep moved approval of the minutes from January 21, 2009.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

Mr. Tom Gillaspy, State Demographer with the Minnesota Department of Administration presented the committee with testimony on Rural Population Decline. Mr. Gillaspy answered questions from the committee members.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:10 P.M.
