Representative Mary Murphy, Chair, called the twenty third meeting to order at 8:35 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

David Zander of Saint Paul, on behalf of the Council on Asian Pacific Minnesotans, testified to the council’s proposal for Constitutional Amendment funding

Representative Mullery testified to the his role with the Council on Asian Pacific Minnesotans

Jim Jones of Bemidji, on behalf of the Indian Affairs Council, testified to the council’s proposal for Constitutional Amendment funding

Annamarie Hill of Saint Paul, on behalf of the Indian Affairs Council, answered questions from the committee

Oscar Echandi of Saint Paul, on behalf of the Chicano Latino Affairs Council, testified to the council’s proposal for Constitutional Amendment funding
