Representative Mary Murphy, Chair, called the fifteenth meeting to order at 8:32 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Nina Archibald of Saint Paul, on behalf of the Minnesota Historical Society, shared her photos and story

Ms. Archibald testified to the mission of the Minnesota Historical Society

David Kelliher of Saint Paul, on behalf of the Minnesota Historical Society, testified to the budget and operation of the Minnesota Historical Society

Mr. Kelliher answered questions from the committee

Ms. Archibald answered questions from the committee

Carol Byrne of Minneapolis, on behalf of the Minnesota International Center, testified to the mission of the Minnesota International Center

Representative Cornish testified to HF1121 and Farmamerica

Judi Lect of Waseca, on behalf of Farmamerica, testified to HF1121

Bill Hoversten of Waseca, on behalf of Farmamerica, answered questions from the committee

Representative Solberg testified to HF1008

Lenora Madigan of Maplewood, on behalf of the Department of Administration, testified to HF1008

Bill Strusinski of Saint Paul, on behalf of Public Television, testified to HF1008

Representative Morgan moved that the minutes of March 9, 2009 be adopted
