MINUTES


Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the twenty-first meeting to order at 10:38 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.


Representative Rosenthal moved that HF 1432 (Rosenthal), Children aging out of foster care provisions modified, Runaway and Homeless Youth Act modified, and money appropriated, be laid over for possible inclusion to an omnibus bill.

Representative Rosenthal presented HF 1432 (Rosenthal).

Representative Rosenthal moved an oral amendment as follows:

Delete sections 1, 3, 4

THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Rosenthal renewed the motion that HF 1432 as amended, Children aging out of foster care provisions modified, Runaway and Homeless Youth Act modified, and money appropriated, be laid over for possible inclusion to an omnibus bill. Hearing no objection, the bill was laid over.

Information hearing on HF 1989 (Hayden), Housing Solutions Act provided, deed tax percentage adjusted, rental housing assistance provided, housing account for leverage opportunity established, and money appropriated.

Representative Hayden presented HF 1989 (Hayden).
