Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the twelfth meeting to order at 10:33 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

The Local Public Health Association of Minnesota presented an update on public health issues.

The Minnesota Department of Health presented on public health funding in the federal stimulus legislation.

Barb Juelich, Budget Director, MN Department of Health

Representative Rosenthal moved that the minutes of February 24, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.


The meeting was adjourned at 12:02 p.m.
