Representative Bill Hilty, Chair, called the sixteenth meeting to order at 2:56 PM on March 11, 2009 in the Basement hearing room of the State office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Rep. Kulick Jackson moved approval of the minutes of March 9, 2009. The motion prevailed.

HF951 (Lillie) Two or more existing municipal power agencies authorized to form a new municipal power agency.

Rep. Hilty moved that HF951 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Rep. Lillie explained the bill.

Rep. Hilty renewed his motion that HF951 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register. The motion prevailed. The bill was passed.

HF1259 (Sailer) Solar energy projects in K-12 public schools funding provided, bonds issued, money appropriated.

Rep. Sailer moved that HF1259 be recommended to pass and be returned to the Committee on Finance with a recommended re-referral to the Capital Investment Finance Division.

Rep. Sailer explained the bill.
