Representative Loren Solberg, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order on March 27, 2008 at 9:45 am, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Representative Solberg presented Budget Resolution RES-02 as adopted on March 25, 2008.
Representative Solberg moved to amend the Budget Resolution RES-02 as follows: see RES-02A2.
Representative Abeler moved to amend the amendment as follows: On Line 1.7 delete "set at $380,00" and insert "reduced to $350,000,00".
THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL THE AMENDEMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.
Representative Abeler moved to amend the amendment as follows: On Line 1.8 delete "$0" and insert "$350,000.00".
THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL THE AMENDEMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.
Representative Abeler moved to amend the Budget Resolution as follows: After line 2.19 insert a new line as follows: "All other funds must remain at the level of the February 2008 forecast."
THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL THE AMENDEMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.
Representative Solberg renewed his motion to amend Budget Resolution RES-02 as adopted by RES02A02.
THE MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED
The Committee adjourned at 10:25 a.m.
