Representative Loren Solberg, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, April 13, 2007, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Eken moved to adopt the minutes of March 22, 2007 as submitted.

Employee Relations Department abolished and duties transferred, and employee protections provided.

Representative Pelowski moved that HF1048 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.

Representative Pelowski presented his bill to the committee.

Commissioner Pat Anderson, DOER testified on behalf of HF1048.

Representative Pelowski renewed his motion that HF1048 pass and be placed on the General Register.
