Representative Paul Thissen, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:33 P.M. on Wednesday, March 13, 2008 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Finstad moved that the minutes of March 12, 2008 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Emmer moved that HF3881 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Finance.

HF3881 (Emmer) allowing certain home modifications to be allowed expenses for the home and community-based waiver programs

Chair Thissen moved the A08-1362 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

The amendment to the amendment was incorporated.

Chair Thissen moved the A08-1388 amendment, as amended. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Bunn moved to amend HF3710 as follows:

Page 1, line 1.17 delete "PHOTOSTATIC"

THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Bunn renewed her motion that HF3710, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Murphy moved that HF3708 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the General Register.

Rep. Emmer withdrew the roll call request.

On a division vote of 9 AYES and 5 NAYS THE MOTION PREVAILED.
