MINUTES
Representative Michael Paymar, Chair of the Public Safety Finance Division Committee, called the forty-fourth meeting to order at 8:03 a.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF1262 (Mahoney) Joint physical custody presumption created, parenting plans required in certain cases, and custody designations modified for parenting plans that use alternative terminology
Rep. Mahoney presented HF1262.
A quorum was present at 8:05 a.m.
Chair Paymar moved the
H1262DE2 amendment (attached). THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Paymar moved to incorporate an oral amendment into the
H1262DE2 amendment as follows:
Page 1, line 16, after "Finance"
delete "Committee"
insert "Division"
[And amend the title accordingly]
Rep. Mahoney considered the amendment friendly and incorporated it into the bill.
Chair Paymar moved that HF1262, as amended, be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Finance with a re-referral to the General Register. MOTION PREVAILED.
