MINUTES
Representative Paul Gardner, Vice-Chair of the Minnesota Heritage Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:14 PM. On March 3, 2008, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Kahn moved HF 3345 be passed and re-referred to the Finance Committee.

Minnesota Film and TV Board grant authorized through Explore Minnesota Tourism, and money appropriated.

AO8-1200 amendment: Line 5 after Minnesota insert "provided the lyrics of the anthem adopted by the legislature are gender neutral." THE MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Kahn moved the following oral amendment. On line 1.18 delete everything after the period and delete lines 19 and 20. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Minnesota State Anthem Commission established.

Representative Kahn moved the following oral amendment. Page 2 line 26 after the period insert, "Zoos not currently accredited by the American Zoological Association may expend funds under this paragraph only for purposes that will assist the zoo to obtain accreditation." THE MOTOIN PREVAILED.
