ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES FINANCE DIVISION
MINUTES
Representative Jean Wagenius, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:04 A.M. on February 15, 2007, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Jeff Stoner, President, Minnesota Groundwater Association (MGWA), and Dale Setterholm, Assistant Director, Minnesota Geological Survey and former President, MGWA, testified on the topic of groundwater.
A quorum was present at 8:10 A.M.
Kent Lokkesmoe, Director of the Division of Waters, Department of Natural Resources (DNR), testified on the topic of groundwater.
Jim Japs, Assistant Director of the Division of Waters, DNR, testified on the topic of groundwater.
The meeting was recessed at 9:33 A.M.
The committee reconvened at 6:37 P.M.
Chair Wagenius moved that the minutes of February 8th and February 13th be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES ARE APPROVED.
Lee Pfannmuller, Director of Ecological Services, DNR, continued the presentation of the Ecological Services portion of the DNR budget.
Kent Lokkesmoe continued the presentation on groundwater.
Jim Japs continued testimony on the topic of groundwater.
Kent Lokkesmoe presented the Division of Waters portion of the DNR budget.
Bob Meier, Assistant Commissioner, DNR, presented the change items and legislative initiatives in the Division of Waters portion of the DNR budget.
David Schad, Director of Fish and Wildlife Division, DNR, presented the Fish and Wildlife Division portion of the DNR budget.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:37 P.M.
