Representative Mindy Greiling, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:20PM on March 5, 2008, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Deron Stender, Superintendent, Frazee-Vergas Public Schools and Amie Erickson, parent, Frazee-Vergas Public Schools, provided an overview of education funding conditions in the Frazee-Vergas school district.
A quorum was present at 2:25pm.
Darrel Tungseth, Board Member, Fergus Falls School Board, Melanie Cole, Vice-Chair, Fergus Falls School Board, and Jerry Ness, Superintendent, Fergus Falls Public Schools, provided an overview of education funding conditions in the Fergus Falls school district.
Amy Gitchell, parent, Brainerd Public Schools, provided an overview of education funding conditions in the Brainerd school district.
Kathy Leedom, Superintendent, Willmar Public Schools, provided an overview of education funding conditions in the Willmar school district.
Bruce Watkins, Superintendent, St. Cloud Public Schools, Joanne Dorsher, Board Member, St. Cloud School Board, and Carol Hamilton, parent, St. Cloud Public Schools, provided an overview of education funding conditions in the St. Cloud school district.
Stan Mack, Superintendent, Robbinsdale Public Schools, and Jackie Wells, parent, Robbinsdale Public Schools, provided an overview of education funding conditions in the Robbinsdale school district.
Dee Wells, Superintendent, Inver Grove Heights Public Schools, and Ted Trenzeluk, parent, Inver Grove Heights Public Schools, provided an overview of education funding conditions in the Inver Grove Heights school district.
Beverly Petrie, parent, Stillwater Public Schools, provided an overview of education funding conditions in the Stillwater school district.
