Representative Mary Murphy, Chair, called the tenth meeting to order at 2:28 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2007 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Murphy called the meeting to order at 2:28 p.m. A quorum was present.

Representative Brown moved that the minutes of March 28, 2007 be adopted.

Representative Greiling and Representative Mariani testified to HF6 (Greiling).

Representative Greiling moved adoption of the division report on HF6.

Chair Murphy moved that HF6 be recommended to pass and be referred to the Committee on Finance.

Representative Heidgerken moved the H0006A50 Amendment.

Representative Hornstein moved the H0006A51 Amendment.

Representative Hornstein moved to orally amend the H0006A51 Amendment as follows:
Line 1.2 After ratios, insert, that clearly indicate the definition of teacher for purposes of determining these ratios
