Representative Carlson, Chair of the Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Rep. Wagenius moved adoption of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division report for HF3547, Second Committee Engrossment. (See language at http://wdoc.house.leg.state.mn.us/leg/LS85/CEH3547.2.pdf). THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE DIVISION REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Wagenius moved that HF3547, Second Committee Engrossment, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Rep. Dill presented HF3547, Second Committee Engrossment (Dill) Omnibus game and fish bill.

Rep. Madore presented SF3669, Second Engrossment, as amended. (Madore) Transportation
construction project mitigating effects on small businesses report required.

Rep. Severson renewed the motion that SF3669, Second Engrossment, as amended, be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Sailer amended the motion that SF3224, Second Engrossment be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
