Representative Carlson, Chair of the Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:12 A.M. on Friday, March 28, 2008, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Rep. Lieder moved adoption of the Transportation Finance Division Report for HF3126, First Committee Engrossment. (See language at http://wdoc.house.leg.state.mn.us/leg/LS85/CEH3126.1.pdf). THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE DIVISION REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

Bill Marx, Chief Fiscal Analyst, responded to questions regarding HF3955, First Committee Engrossment.

Rep. Thissen moved that HF3955, First Committee Engrossment, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Rep. Thissen presented HF3955, First Committee Engrossment (Thissen) Community-based care promoted for older adults through establishment of a community consortiums, and coverage provided for costs associated with physical activities for home and community-based waiver programs for persons with disabilities.
