Representative Sailer, Vice Chair of the Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:38 A.M. on Monday, February 26, 2007, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Representative Carlson moved approval of the minutes of Monday, February 19, 2007. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

The bill under consideration:
HF472 First Engrossment (Morrow) Renewable energy production incentives eligibility period extended.

Rep. Solberg moved adoption of the Energy, Finance and Policy Division Report on HF472 First Engrossment. (See language at: http://wdoc.house.leg.state.mn.us/leg/LS85/HF0472.0.pdf)). THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE DIVISION REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Hilty moved that HF472 First Engrossment be recommended to pass and placed on the Consent Calendar. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF779 First Committee Engrossment (Bly) Native American languages; Council on Indigenous Languages funding provided, and money appropriated.

Rep. Carlson moved adoption of the Minnesota Heritage Finance Division Report on HF779 First Committee Engrossment. (See language at http://wdoc.house.leg.state.mn.us/leg/LS85/CEH0779.1.pdf). THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE DIVISION REPORT WAS ADOPTED.



Vice Chair Sailer moved that HF779 First Committee Engrossment be moved with no recommendation and re-referred to E-12 Education Policy Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Jim Reinholdz, House Fiscal Analyst, presented division accounts and funding base of the Agriculture, Rural Economies and Veterans Affairs Finance Division.
