MINUTES


Representative Joe Atkins, Chair of the Commerce and Labor Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:10 P.M. on March 14, 2008, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF 635 (Masin) Minnesota Wireless Telephone Consumer Protection Act adopted

Representative Atkins moved HF 635.

Representative Johnson moved the H0635A16 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

The following people testified on HF 635:

Representative Zellers moved to lay the HF 635 on the table.

Representative Zellers requested a roll call vote. The results were as follows:

Representative Lillie assumed the gavel at 4:10 P.M.

Representative Atkins assumed the gavel at 4:11 P.M.


Representative Atkins moved that HF 635, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Civil Justice. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Representative Johnson moved that the minutes of March 13, 2008 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Representative Atkins moved to reconsider SF 3154. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Atkins moved to reconsider the A08-1297 amendment to SF 3154. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Atkins moved that SF 3154 be recommended to pass. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Representative Atkins moves to reconsider HF 3229. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Atkins moved that HF 3229 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations, Reform, Technology & Elections. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
