MINUTES


Representative Mary Liz Holberg, Chair of the Transportation Finance Committee, called the nineteenth meeting to order at 12:30 P.M. on Tuesday April 5, 2005, in
Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Members present:

A quorum was present.

Representative Lieder moved approval of the March 31, 2005 Transportation Finance Committee Meeting Minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

HF1156 (Powell) State Patrol vehicle automatic external defibrillators funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Holberg moved HF1156 be considered and held over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Finance Omnibus Bill.

Representative Holberg moved amendment H1156A2 (see attached). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Powell presented HF1156.

Testifying on behalf of HF1156:

Dr. Jeff Schiff (12:34 12:36) Children’s Hospital

Representative Holberg renewed her motion that HF1156, as amended, be held over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Finance Omnibus Bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1189 (Erhardt) Recycling and garbage truck weight restriction exemptions provided.

Representative Erhardt moved HF1189 be passed and placed on the Consent
Calendar.

Representative Erhardt presented HF1189.

Representative Ruth assumed the gavel at 12:40.

Representative Erhardt renewed his motion that HF1189 be passed and placed on the Consent Calendar. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1354 (Ruth) Motor vehicle transaction fee and filing fees for processing license applications increased.

Representative Ruth moved HF1354 be considered and held over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Finance Omnibus Bill.

Representative Ruth presented HF1354.
