Rep. Torrey Westrom, Chair of the Regulated Industries Committee, called the seventeenth meeting (interim) of the Regulated Industries Committee to order at 9:30 a.m. on September 27, 2005 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

A quorum was present.

The committee heard a presentation by Michael Keegan, Director of Telecommunications Task Force, American Legislative Exchange Council.

Rep. Beard requested additional data for future distribution to the committee.

Michael Keegan, Director of Telecommunications Task Force, ALEC, continued with his testimony.

Rep. Hansen requested additional data for future distribution to the committee.

The next segment of the meeting was devoted to comments and discussion by members of the cable, telecommunications and wireless industries.
