MINUTES


Rep. Torrey Westrom, Chair of the Regulated Industries Committee, called the fifth meeting to order at 2:35 p.m. on February 9, 2005 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Rep. Huntley moved approval of the minutes for February 2, 2005. The motion prevailed.

HF 286 (Hoppe) Brewpubs and small brewers license fees and production levels conformity provided, temporary small brewers license authorized, off-sale of growlers authorized, sampling provisions modified, and other municipal licenses modified.

Rep. Hoppe moved that HF 286 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Rep. Hoppe moved the following oral amendment to HF 286:

Page 1, line 31, delete "3,400" and insert "3,500"
Page 5, line 33, after "340A.409" insert ", subdivision 1 to 3a"
Pages 5 to 7, delete section 4
Renumber sections and amend the title

The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Rep. Hoppe renewed the motion that HF 286, as amended, be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
The motion prevailed.

SF 206 (Anderson, E.) University of Minnesota college of agriculture campus proximity off-sale intoxicating liquor license.

Rep. Westrom moved SF 206 be recommended to pass and be placed on the Consent Calendar.

Rep. Westrom renewed the motion that SF 206 be recommended to pass and be placed on the Consent Calendar.
