MINUTES


Representative Steve Smith, Chair of the Public Safety Policy and Finance Committee, called the twenty-eighth meeting to order at 10:24 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2005 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Rep. Newman moved approval of the minutes of March 16, 2005, Public Safety Policy and Finance Meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Johnson moved HF572 (Johnson) relating to methamphetamine and methamphetamine precursor drug crime provisions established, technical conformity provided, and money appropriated.

Rep. Johnson presented HF572.

Rep. Johnson moved to amend HF572 with the H0572A30 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Newman moved to amend HF572 with the H0572A25 amendment.

Rep. Hilstrom moved to amend HF572 with the H0572A28 amendment.

Rep. Paymar moved to amend HF572 with the H0572A31 amendment.
