MINUTES


Representative Steve Smith, Chair of the Public Safety Policy and Finance Committee, called the twenty-first meeting to order at 10:24 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Rep. Johnson moved approval of the minutes of March 1, 2005, Public Safety Policy and Finance Meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Smith removed HF1244 from the table.

Rep. Paulsen presents HF1244.

Rep. Smith moves that HF1244 be recommended to pass, and that it be referred to the Committee on Civil Law. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Presentation of amendments to HF572 relating to methamphetamine precursor drug sales regulated, civil immunity provided for reporting of suspicious transactions, criminal penalties and property restrictions imposed, meth lab cleanup fund established, and money appropriated.
