MINUTES


Representative Bob Gunther, Chair of the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy & Finance Committee, called the thirty-fifth meeting to order at 8:24 a.m., on Thursday, March 31, 2005, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.


Representative Moved to approve the Minutes of March 15, 16 and 17, 2005. The motion prevailed and the Minutes of March 15, 16 and 17, 2005 were approved.


H.F. 0358 (Ruth) County document recording fees and standards provided.

Representative Ruth moved HF0358 to be before the committee and to recommend that HF 0358 pass and to be sent to the General Register.

Representative Ruth presented HF0358.

Representative Ruth renewed her motion to recommend passage of HF 0358 and send to the General Register. The motion prevailed.


H.F.1034 (Garofalo) Extended employment services funding provided, reimbursement rate increased, and money appropriated.

Vice Chair Garofalo moved HF1034 to be before the committee and to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Jobs and Economic Opportunity Policy and Finance Omnibus bill.

Vice Chair Garofalo moved Amendment A05-0393. The motion prevailed and Amendment A05-0393 was adopted.

Vice Chair Garofalo presented HF1034.
