ENVIRONMENT & NATURAL RESOURCES POLICY COMMITTEE
MINUTES
Representative Tom Hackbarth, Chair of the Environment & Natural Resources Policy Committee, called the first meeting to order at 12:41 p.m. on January 20, 2005, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Clerk noted the roll.

12:41:20 PM Rep Hackbarth introduced the committee staff and then had members introduce themselves.
12:52:33 PM Rep. Hackbarth explains that today there will be a presentation from the DNR on their conservation agenda.
12:52:57 PM Brad Moore, Assistant Commissioner to DNR, along with Laura Preus, Science Policy Analyst presented an overview.
1:19:29 PM Rep. Cox assumes the gavel.
1:23:59 PM Rep. Hackbarth resumes the gavel.
1:31:47 PM Gene Merriam, Commissioner of the DNR, addresses the committee.
1:36:09 PM Questions, from the committee, were posed to Commissioner Merriam and Asst. Commissioner Moore concerning issues in the overview presentation.
1:59:44 PM The Chair announced that the next meeting will be, Tuesday, January 25, 2005, and will include a public lands overview and ATV forest classification update.
