MINUTES


Representative Busegens, Chair of the Education Policy and Reform Committee, began the twentieth meeting at 8:25AM on Thursday, March 31, 2005, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Rep. Charron moved approval of the minutes from the March 22nd meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Carlson moved approval of the minutes from the March 29th meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1273 (Demmer): Teacher contract negotiation during school year prohibited and January 15 contract settlement penalty repealed.

Rep. Demmer moved that HF1273 be re-referred to the committee on Education Finance without recommendation.

Rep. Demmer presented HF1273.

Rep. Buesgens moved that HF697 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Education Finance.
