Representative Barb Sykora, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the fifth meeting to order at 12:34 PM on Thursday, January 20, 2005 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

12:37:44 PM Rep. Sykora recognized Valerie Dosland, DFL House Researcher, for her time of service.
12:42:07 PM Marylin Baeker, Director, Teacher Quality Enhancement Project, Minnesota Department of Education, presented on the Teacher Advancement Program.
1:34:05 PM Von Sheppard, Principal, testified on behalf of Dayton's Bluff Achievement Plus Elementary School.
1:41:54 PM Paul Magnuson, NCLB Consolidated Programs, Minnesota Department of Education presented an update on No Child Left Behind.
2:11:40 PM Rep. Buesgens moved the minutes of: Wednesday, January 19, 2005. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
