MINUTES

Representative Paul Kohls, Chair of the Technology, Bioscience & Medical Products Division, called the Eighth meeting to order at 12:35 P.M. on Monday, March 27, 2006, in Room 500 North of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Rep. Zellers moved approval of the March 3, 2005 and the August 10, 2005 Technology, Bioscience & Medical Products Division minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

HF3185 (Mahoney) Bioprocess piping and equipment data classified as nonpublic, and bioprocess piping included in the definition of high pressure piping.

Representative Kohls moved HF3185 be passed and be considered by the Committee on Commerce and Financial Institutions

Representative Kohls moved Amendment H3185A1 (see attached) be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Mahoney presented HF3185.

Representative Kohls renewed his motion that HF3185, as amended, be recommended to pass and be considered by the Committee on Commerce and Financial Institutions. THE MOTION PREVAILED

HF3561 (Severson) Biotechnology and health sciences industry zone designation authorized.

Representative Severson moved HF3561 be recommended to pass and be considered by the Committee on Commerce and Financial Institutions.

Representative Severson presented HF3561.

Representative Severson renewed his motion that HF3561 be recommended to pass and be considered by the Committee on Commerce and Financial Institutions. THE MOTION PREVAILED
