MINUTES


Representative Chris DeLaForest, Vice Chair of the Civil Law and Elections Committee called the thirtieth meeting to order at 12:40 p.m. March 1, 2006 in the Basement Hearing Room, State Office Building, St. Paul, MN.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Representative Nelson, P. moved approval of the minutes of May 4, 2005. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Hilty moved approval of the minutes of January 11, 2006. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Ellison moved approval of the minutes of February 22, 2006. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Johnson, J. moved HF 2846.

HF2846 (Johnson, J.) Eminent domain public use or purpose defined and modified, evidence for certain takings required, attorney fees provided, and other changes provided.

Representative Ellison moved Amendment H2846A8.

Representative Ellison withdrew Amendment H2846A8.

Representative Johnson, J. moved that HF 2846 pass, as amended, and be re-referred to the Public Safety Policy and Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
