MINUTES


Representative Dan Dorman, Chair of the Capital Investment Committee, called the eighteenth meeting to order at 2:40pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2006, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A Quorum was present.

Representative Dorman moved that HF263 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Dorman moved the UE1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMDENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Dorman assumed the gavel at 3:30pm.

Representative Dorman moved to amend the UE1 Amendment as follows:

Page 4, line 21, after “restriction” delete “The quit claim”
Page 4, delete lines 22,23,24,25, & 26.

THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMDENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Mahoney moved the H263A7 Amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMDENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Representative Hausman assumed the gavel at 4:10pm

Representative Dorman assumed the gavel at 4:12pm

Representative Mahoney moved the A10 Amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMDENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Representative Kahn moved the A8 Amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMDENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED

Representative Dorman assumed the gavel at 5:15pm.

Representative Mahoney moved the A3 Amendment.

Representative Mahoney requested a division vote.

There being 4 ayes and 11 nayes: THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMDENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED

Representative McNamara requested a roll call vote.

Representative Dorman renewed his motion that HF263 be recommended to pass as amended and be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
