The Chief Clerk proceeded to read the
Journal of the preceding day. There
being no objection, further reading of the Journal was dispensed with and the
Journal was approved as corrected by the Chief Clerk.
REPORTS OF CHIEF CLERK
S. F. No. 2227 and H. F. No. 2652, which had been referred to the Chief Clerk for comparison, were examined and found to be identical.
Cornish moved that S. F. No. 2227 be substituted for H. F. No. 2652 and that the House File be indefinitely postponed. The motion prevailed.
S. F. No. 2498 and H. F. No. 2901, which had been referred to the Chief Clerk for comparison, were examined and found to be identical.
