1.2Delete everything after the enacting clause and insert:

1.3    "Section 1. SHERBURNE COUNTY LAW LIBRARY.
1.4If the Sherburne county law library, through its trustees, has a fiscal reserve that is
1.5projected to sustain its operations for a period of over five years, the Sherburne county law
1.6library may transfer to the county up to half of the money in its fiscal reserve, but not to
1.7exceed $200,000, to defray costs of constructing a new building to house the law library
1.8and courts.
1.9EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment, without
1.10local approval as provided in Minnesota Statutes, section 645.023, subdivision 1, clause
1.11(a)."
1.12Delete the title and insert:
1.14relating to counties; allowing the Sherburne county law library to transfer money
1.15to the county for certain construction costs."
