1.3    "Sec. 2. [609.5151] DISSEMINATION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT
1.4LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS PROHIBITED; PENALTY.
1.5    Subdivision 1. Definitions. As used in this section:
1.6(1) "immediate family member" means a law enforcement official's spouse, child, or
1.7parent, or any other blood relative who lives in the same residence as the law enforcement
1.8official;
1.9(2) "law enforcement official" means a peace officer as defined in section 626.84,
1.10subdivision 1, a judge as defined in section 609.221, subdivision 2, paragraph (c), or a
1.11prosecutor as defined in section 609.221, subdivision 2, paragraph (c); and
1.12(3) "personal information" means a law enforcement official's home address, home
1.13telephone number, personal mobile telephone number, pager number, personal e-mail
1.14address, personal photograph, directions to the law enforcement official's home, or
1.15photographs of the law enforcement official's or the official's immediate family member's
1.16home or vehicle.
1.17    Subd. 2. Crime described. It is a misdemeanor for a person to knowingly make available
1.18on the Internet personal information about a law enforcement official or an official's
1.19immediate family member, if the dissemination of the personal information poses an
1.20imminent and serious threat to the law enforcement official's safety or the safety of a law
1.21enforcement official's immediate family member, and the person making the information
1.22available on the Internet knows or reasonably should know of the imminent and serious
1.23threat.
1.24EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective August 1, 2018, and applies to crimes
1.25committed on or after that date."

2.3personal information about law enforcement officials in certain circumstances;"
2.4Correct the title numbers accordingly
