WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

Representative Jay Xiong, Chair of the Workforce Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:35 AM on January 11, 2023, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Committee members and staff introductions.

Chair Xiong moved that HF 27 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Xiong moved the DE3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lislegard presented HF 27, as amended.

Testifying on HF 27 as amended:
• John Arbogast, District 11 Staff Representative, United Steelworkers

Chair Xiong renewed his motion that HF 27, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
