Representative Michael Nelson, Chair of the Labor and Industry Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM on April 27, 2023 in Room 10 of the State Office Building. It was broadcast via House Public Information Services.

Representative Jordan moved the minutes from March 30, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2988 (Wolgamott); Workers' compensation self-insurance provisions modified.

Chair Nelson moved HF2988 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

Chair Nelson moved the A23-0138 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Nelson moved the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Wolgamott presented HF2988, as amended.
