JUDICIARY FINANCE AND CIVIL LAW MINUTES

Representative Jamie Becker-Finn, Chair of the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law, called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM on March 16, 2023 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

Representative Scott moved that the minutes of March 14, 2023, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1083 (Frazier) Criminal records expungement without petition authorized for individuals not guilty of crime as a result of identity theft or mistaken identity.

Chair Becker-Finn moved HF 1083 as amended before the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee.

Vice Chair Frazier moved that HF 1083 be recommended to be re-referred to the Human Services Finance Committee.

Chair Becker-Finn moved to reconsider the motion to adopt the H1083DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
