Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 11th, 2023, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative FISCHER moved to approve the minutes from Wednesday, January 4th, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF207 (Tabke); A bill for an act relating to natural resources; establishing lawns to legumes grant program; appropriating money; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter
103B.

Representative LEE moved that HF207 be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative TABKE introduced HF207.

Representative HANSEN moved to adopt an amendment to HF207, the A1 amendment.

Representative HANSEN renewed his motion to adopt the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative LEE renewed his motion that HF207, as amended, be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice Chair Jordan assumed the gavel at 4:13 P.M.

HF206 (Hansen); A bill for an act relating to natural resources; appropriating money for examination of neonicotinoid impacts on game species.

Representative HANSEN moved that HF206 be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative HANSEN renewed his motion that HF206 be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
