MINUTES

Representative Liebling, Chair of the Division, called the meeting to order at 12:49 P.M. on March 5, 2020 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF 840 (Lien) Medical assistance adult dental coverage expanded to include periodontal disease nonsurgical treatment.

Chair Liebling moved that HF 840 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Finance Division bill.

Chair Liebling moved the H0840A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lien presented his bill.

Chair Liebling laid over HF 840, as amended, for possible inclusion in the Division bill.

HF 963 (Halverson) Prescription contraceptive supply requirements established; contraceptive methods, sterilization and related medical services, patient education, and counseling health plan coverage required; and eligible organizations accommodations established.

Representative Halverson moved that HF 963 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Halverson moved the H0963A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Halverson presented her bill.

Representative Halverson renewed her motion that HF 963 be recommended to pass, as amended, and be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1523 First Engrossment (Cantrell) Commissioner of human services directed to establish prescription drug purchasing program, and program authority and eligibility requirements specified.

Representative Cantrell moved that HF 1523 First Engrossment be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative moved the H1523DE3-2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Cantrell presented his bill.

HF 3450 (Morrison) Family planning grant funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Liebling moved that HF 3450 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Finance Division bill.

Representative Morrison presented her bill.
