MINUTES

Representative Liebling, Chair of the Division, called the meeting to order at 12:47 P.M. on February 13, 2019 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Youakim gave an overview of her bill HF 260.

HF 230 (Youakim) St. Louis Park; Perspectives Family Center expansion and renovation funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Testifying in support:

Karen Barton, Community Development Director, City of St. Louis Park

A quorum was present at 12:53 P.M.

Jim Erickson, Solomon Strategies Group, representing Perspectives and Jennifer Summerfeld, Legislative Director, Children and Family Services, Department of Human Services, responded to member questions.

Chair Liebling moved that HF 230 be returned to the Committee on Ways and Means with a recommended re-referral to the Division on Capital Investment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Cantrell moved that the minutes of February 12, 2019 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Chad Hope, Deputy Director for Purchasing and Service Delivery, Department of Human Services gave an overview of Medicaid pharmacy benefits.

Chair Liebling moved that HF 182 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Division Bill.

HF 182 (Lippert) Prescription drug repository program established, and money appropriated.

Chair Liebling laid over HF 182 for possible inclusion in the Division Bill.
