GREATER MINNESOTA JOBS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FINANCE DIVISION MINUTES

Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the Committee on Greater Minnesota Jobs and Economic Development Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 12:45 PM on March 13, 2019, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Pelowski moved that HF 1137 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Kresha presented HF 1137, a bill for an act relating to telecommunications; appropriating money to the broadband grant program.

Chair Pelowski renewed the motion that HF 1137 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Pelowski moved that HF 376 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Sundin presented HF 376, a bill for an act relating to telecommunications; appropriating money for a grant to extend an existing broadband network.

Testifying on HF 376:

Chair Pelowski renewed the motion that HF 376 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Pelowski moved that HF 1460 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Claflin presented HF 1460, a bill for an act relating to capital investment; appropriating money for South St. Paul infrastructure in the Concord Street corridor; authorizing the sale and issuance of state bonds.

Chair Pelowski renewed the motion that HF 1460 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Gunther moved that HF 615 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Gunther presented HF 615, a bill for an act relating to Rapidan Township; appropriating money to reimburse federal disaster assistance.

Representative Gunther renewed the motion that HF 615 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
