MINUTES

Representative Jeanne Poppe, Chair of the Division, called the meeting to order at 9:45 AM on February 5th, 2019, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Panel on the demographics and factors contributing to food access challenges and food insecurity in Minnesota.

Ashley Bress, Ag. Marketing and Development Division, MN Dept. of Agriculture, provided the Good Food Access report.

Chair Poppe moved H.F. 436 for possible inclusion in the omnibus finance bill.

Chair Poppe renewed her motion that H.F. 436 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus finance bill.

Vice Chair Brand moved to adopt the minutes from the division meeting on January 31, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


The meeting was adjourned at 11:15 AM.
