MINUTES
Representative Freiberg, Chair of the Government Operations, called the meeting to order at 9:50 AM on January 15th 2019, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Freiberg called the meeting to order at 9:50am. A quorum was present.

Chair Freiberg invited committee members and staff to introduce themselves and then went over the committee rules.

The committee heard a presentation from House Research.

The committee heard a presentation from Department of the Administration.

Referral memo for HF14 and HF17 was discussed, bills were referred to the Subcommittee on Elections.

Chair adjourns meeting.

  • HF17 (O'Driscoll) - Help America Vote Act appropriations authorized for purposes of modernizing, securing, and updating statewide voter registration system and for cybersecurity upgrades.

The Office of Administrative Hearings’ presentation that was originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 15, 2019 has been postponed without a rescheduled date determined. On Friday, January 11, 2019, Chair Freiberg referred HF17 and HF14 to the Subcommittee on Elections.
