MINUTES

Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, started the meeting at 10:15 AM, on Wednesday, March 21st, 2018, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF917 (Kiel) Residential biomass heating system temporary refundable credit provided, and report required.

Representative Davids moved HF917 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

Testifiers:
Logan O'Grady, Clean Energy Economy Minnesota.
Chris Tureson, Central Boiler.

Representative Davids officially called the meeting to order at 10:18 AM. A quorum was present.

Representative Schultz moved the minutes of Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Davids renewed his motion that HF917 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

HF2508 (Fenton) Film production refundable tax credit provided.

Representative Davids moved HF2508 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

Representative Davids moved the HF2508A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Davids renewed his motion that HF2508, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

HF3093 (Urdahl) Teacher's master's degree tax credit eligibility modified.

Representative Davids moved HF3093 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

Representative Davids moved the HF3093A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

John Klaber, Executive Director, Minnesota Administrators for Special Education

Representative Davids renewed his motion that HF3093, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:53 AM.
