MINUTES

Representative Loon, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:04 P.M. on February 15, 2017, in Room Five of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Sandstede moved that the minutes of February 14th, 2017 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF379 Swedzinski, Southwest Minnesota State University additional school employee participa-tion authorized for special education teacher program, and appropriation extended.

Representative Loon moved that that HF379 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill or for further action at a later time.

Representative Swedzinski testified on HF379.

Representative Loon renewed the motion that HF379 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill for further action at a later time.

Representative Erickson moved that HF689 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill or for further action at a later time.
