MINUTES

Representative Davids, Chair of the Tax Committee, began the meeting at 10:15 A.M. on February 10th, 2015, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davids began the meeting at 10:15. A quorum was NOT present.

A quorum was present at 10:26 and the meeting was called to order.

Representative Loeffler moved that the minutes of February 5th, 2015 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Davids moved that HF137 come before the committee.

HF137 Dettmer: Military retirees and survivors allowed a subtraction from taxable income.

Representative Dettmer, Jerry Kyser of the United Veterans Legislative Council, Tommy Johnson of Eden Prairie, and Chuck Jones of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, testified on HF137, first engrossment.

Representative Davids moved that HF137 was laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

Representative Wills moved that HF10 come before the committee.

HF10 Wills: Veterans jobs tax credit provided.

Representative Wills, Dennis Davis of Anoka, Joe Johnson of Trust Vets, and Paul Cumings of the Minnesota Department of Revenue, testified on HF10, first engrossment.

Representative Wills moved that HF10 was laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

Representative Wills moved that HF412 come before the committee.

HF412 Wills: Premises leases for nonprofit fund-raising events duration threshold modified.

Representative Wills, Bruce Adams of Burnsville, and Jeff Weisensel of Rosemount, testified on HF412, first engrossment.

Representative Wills moved that HF 412 was laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

Meeting adjourned at 11:33.
