STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Anderson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on April 14, 2015, in the Basement of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Anderson called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Carlson moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on April 9, 2015 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Petersburg moved that HF649 come before the committee and be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill.

HF649 (Urdahl) - Minnesota Humanities Center provided funding, and money appropriated.

Chair Anderson moved Representative Urdahl’s A15-0442 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Petersburg renewed the motion that HF649 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Johnson moved that HF2133 come before the committee and be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill.

HF2133 (Johnson) - Office of the Revisor of Statutes complement increased, information technology service maintenance and improvement funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Johnson renewed the motion that HF2133 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.



Representative Nash moved that HF506 come before the committee and be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill.

HF506 (Schoen) - Temporary licensing provided for former and current members of the military.

Representative Nash renewed the motion that HF506 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Loonan moved that HF1359 come before the committee and be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill.

HF1359 (Anzelc) - County overseer of roads appointment requirement repealed in unorganized territories of a county.

Representative Loonan renewed the motion that HF1359 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
