STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Anderson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on March 17, 2015, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Anderson called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Nash moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 12, 2015 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Lisa Radzak, Managing Director of Community and Government Relations, and Chris Cross, Network Stations Manager for Minnesota Public Radio, gave an overview of activities.

Matt Scherer, Legislative Director, and Naomi Munzner, Director of Grants Management for the Department of Administration, gave remarks on Minnesota Public Radio’s overview of activities.

Bill Strusinski, Friends of Public Television, gave a presentation on Public Television.

David O’Fallon, President, and Trista Matascastillo, Veterans Voices Program Officer for the Minnesota Humanities Commission, gave an overview of activities.

Chair Anderson moved that HF18 come before the committee and be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill.

HF18 (Kahn) – MNsure law exemptions relating to the office of MN.IT services removed.

Chair Anderson renewed the motion that HF18 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:51 A.M.
